Gas nitriding furnaces

The nitriding process is a thermo-chemical process that is commonly used to improve the durability or corrosion properties of some steel grades. In the nitriding process, the gas reacts with the heated metal surface and creates a hardened layer of nitrates on it. These furnaces are used in the production of bearings, gears, sprockets and press dies. After the process, the parts become harder, more resistant to friction and fatigue.
